New Rock Music Monday – Halloween Edition

New Rock MusicWe pored through our InBox and pulled out some tasty treats new rock music offerings for your music starved ears. We found selections from old favorites, from huge stars, from emerging talents, and even one from an acclaimed actress. So without further ado, let’s dig through our goodie bag. And, do yourself a favor and check out all of these tracks, discover something new and support rock ‘n roll.

Hands Like Houses, “Perspectives” – Yet another killer Australian band. This one is built for Active Rock radio. It’s a hard-driving rocker with a bit of an industrial sound.

Wilco – “Someone To Lose” – It’s a love story done the way only Wilco can deliver a song.  A distinctive alt-country vibe accompanied by an interesting claymation video.

EVOL WALKS, “Let Me Love You” – Yup – another Aussie band tickling our ear buds.  This one is a cool rocking cover of a Justin Bieber song that Leah Martin-Brown redefines in her own style.

Brett Newski, “Garage” – This guy is one of the hardest working and funniest performers toiling on the road today and on “Garage” we get to see him deliver a sweet, addictive rock tune that we can’t unstick from our ears.

Bear Hands, “Boss” – These New York Indie rockers continue to spread their wings and deliver a catchy alt-rocker that is actually my favorite Bear Hands song to date.  The lyrics are perfectly portrayed in this poignant video about a stay at home dad…

Highly Suspect, “Little One” – The third track off of their recent album The Boy Who Died Wolf is highlighted by fantastic vocals and Grammy worthy production.

Terence Jack, “Errors” – This is the second song we’ve featured from Terence Jack, and it’s loaded with catchy pop hooks and powered by an addictive guitar riff.

Juliette Lewis, “Any Way You Want It” – She’s been perfecting her chops for years and we see the fruits of her labors come through in this old school rock anthem in the making.
