Set times for Welcome To Rockville have been made public, and the set-up and scheduling this year, are just about perfect. This year’s event will unfold over three stages, packed with blistering rock ‘n roll on Saturday and Sunday, April 29th and 30th.
I’ve been to this thunderous celebration of hellacious hard rock for each of the past four years. The festival on the banks of the St. Johns River always features a handful of huge metal bands and five times as many smaller bands on the cusp. Earlier today, the long-awaited 2017 lineup announcement for Welcome To Rockville was released. This year’s featured bands include a few legendary artists and a slew of up and coming acts. Early bird tickets go on sale Tuesday, December 6th for the April 29th and 30th event at Jacksonville’s Metropolitan Park.
