This year’s version of the Big Ticket had a smaller lineup as they trimmed down to one stage, but the trade-off was better quality, as all seven bands were pretty damn good. Here’s a quick recap on each set, in reverse order based on quality of their set (best saved for last).

The Lumineers Highlight Strong Lineup as The Big Ticket 2017 Adjusts to New Venue
For the first time in memory, The Big Ticket moved indoors, and despite the excellent lineup, the change produced mixed results. The one constant that remains is a festival highlighting some uber-talented alternative rockers, highlighted by The Lumineers, and a day with a happy, peaceful vibe.
One of the most anticipated shows of the year took place over the weekend when Panic! At the Disco played a rousing show to a sold out crowd at Orlando’s Amway Center. Panic! at the Disco, a band which has increased in popularity since the early 2000s, filled Amway Center with thousands of excited fans Friday night. Opening for the band was Saint Motel, who brought an Indie pop vibe to the concert, and MisterWives, who performed both original and cover songs.

This sweet pop rock ditty was released last fall, but the creative folks in Saint Motel just released a new video that you need to check out. The song is an addictive poppy classic-in-the-making. Sumptuous music and buttery lyrics drive the song, but the new video kicks it up a notch.
