Another Florida Music Festival is heading into its last day, and thus far, the diverse musical offerings have not disappointed. We’ve got a quick photo recap highlighting some of our earl favorites, but there’s plenty of music left. Get out to Downtown Orlando tonight and support the Florida music scene, and check out fifty plus sets of free music from uber-talented Sunshine State artists.

Full Sail University
Set It Off, one of the hottest acts on the pop rock scene, returned to their home state and delivered a memorable evening for area fans. The Tampa artists delivered a fun-filled spectacle at Full Sail University in Winter Park. The Set It Off album release event was a celebration of the upcoming release of their evocative third studio album Upside Down.
The first time I ever got to see the mighty Coheed and Cambria they were touring with Thursday and Thrice. They played a sold-out show at the House of Blues in Orlando circa 2002. The second time they were opening for The Used at the now defunct Club 5 in Jacksonville, then again at the now defunct Freebird Live in Jacksonville Beach, that time as headliners. There are not many bands that I would go way out of my way to see live and review over and over again, but if I even sense that they will be coming within a hundred mile radius of me it would feel wrong not to be in attendance. They are one of Central Florida’s most successful rock acts over the past decade, and Set It Off the Tampa quartet is putting on a special event in the Orlando area to celebrate the upcoming release of their new album. The Tampa quartet is offering local fans a killer opportunity to share in the excitement of the release for Upside Down which hits the streets on October 7th.

On a scorching day in Orlando, we bounced around from stage to stage and took hundreds of photos. Over the past two weeks, we shared some with our Facebook fans and a few collections here on our website. These guys started in Tallahassee and kicked off their fun set with an homage to their hometown with the Seminole War Chant and a nice rendition of the Tomahawk Chop. They delivered an energetic set that entertained their avid fans.
