10/26 – Kix, Radisson Center (Cape Canaveral)

10/29 – Barenaked Ladies, Hard Rock Live

10/30 – John Fogerty, Hard Rock Live. He was a last-minute fill-in for Fun. at the Gentlemen of the Road Stopover, and blew the crowd away.
10/30 – Story of the Year, Hawthorne heights and more, The Beacham

10/31 – Nine Inch Nails with Gary Numan, Amway Center. Just an amazing way to spend Halloween.

Lots to choose from as we head into the dog days of summer. This month, we start off with Jacksonville, as we received a great submittal from Mariah Holland, one of our new contributors. Mariah includes a great look at the local acts playing the Jacksonville music scene, which we’ve woven in with the national acts.

Central Florida December Rock Concert Listing

The months starts off with one of the best one day festivals in the entire country, X102.9’s The Big Ticket at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville.  After that, it’s a relatively slow holiday month.


12.01, Everclear and Eve 6 – The Beacham. Still haven’t been to this venue yet, but this would be a good show to check it out with.  Both bands are excellent live. Here’s our most recent Everclear review to give you an idea.

12.02, Richard Marx – The Plaza Theatre

12.03, The Silversun Pickups – Hard Rock Live

12.06, Vince Neil – Hard Rock Live. Motley Crue’s front man…

12.07, Southern Culture On the Skids – The Social. These guys are just an absolute blast to catch live. Highly recommended.

12.08, Sum 41 – HOB-Orlando.  Great Alt-Rock with a punk twist. Always put on a good show.

7/3, Boston – Hard Rock Hotel – They were just a local band out of Boston…

7/6, Reel Big Fish – House of Blues. Great ska music from The West Coast, Cali style.

7/9, Best Coast – The Social. Another West Coast band, this time Surf Punk style.

7/10, Tyler Hilton – The Social. The part-time actor plays rock star this month, singing and playing guitar for us this month

7/25, Styper – House of Blues

7/27, The Toadies – House of Blues. Reunited and back on tour supporting a new album.  Make up Your Mind…

7/27, Vans Warped Tour – Central Florida Fairgrounds. This year’s festival features about 3,000 bands, including Taking Back Sunday, Yellowcard, All Time Low, New Found Glory and The Lost Prophets.
