This year’s Florida Music Festival kicked off Thursday night in Downtown Orlando and as usual there was plenty of talent on display. Below is a quick photo gallery from Day 1, but first, some thoughts on who to catch the next two nights.
Anyone’s Guess CD Release Show Photos from Venue 578
Anyone’s Guess held a festive CD release show in Orlando over the weekend and invited a few of Orlando’s best Alternative rock bands to join them on stage for the big event. We were able to catch a handful of cool photos from each band, as well as a few crowd shots.
In celebration of the release of their excellent new album, Commitment Issues, Anyone’s Guess threw a memorable party at Orlando’s Venue 578 this weekend. The Orlando rockers put together a killer line-up of local bands to share the stage on their big night.
Anyone’s Guess So Long Video Premiere and Interview
Today is release day for “So Long” the brand new video from Orlando alt-rockers Anyone’s Guess. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we chatted with singer/bassist Sanja Jovanovic. Check out her thoughts, and then take a peek at the “So Long” premiere below.
We were back in Downtown Orlando for another excellent sampling of Orlando’s vibrant music scene on Friday night. This time, we brought along excellent local photographer Jay Verdesca who helped capture the night in photographs.
The Florida Music Festival is one of my favorite musical events in the state, and the 2016 version kicks off this Thursday, April 21st. And, just like last year, the music is free – so get your asses out to downtown Orlando this weekend – no excuses…
More tattoos and piercings than I’ve ever seen in one place I my life, brightly decorated hair and mind-numbing body suspensions provided just a taste of the eclectic vibe at Kinkfest. Those colorful experiences, coupled with a beautiful backdrop of pristine November weather, set-up the perfect environment for my first visit. There was also a palpable, positive vibe, in an environment where everyone was in their own element being whoever the hell they wanted to be. Oh, and then there was the eleven hours of killer rock ‘n roll – welcome to the 2015 incarnation of The Kink Music Festival.
The Kink Music Festival returns to Orlando in mid-November for their 2nd Annual celebration of rock ‘n roll, tattoos and a provoking culture here in Florida. This year’s event features Central Florida favorites Rise Against and Hollywood Undead, plus a dozen more national and local bands well worth the affordable $30 price of admission.
