When you pull into the parking lot of the Central Florida Fairgrounds at ten in the morning and see groups of people adorned with piercings, tattoos, and multi-colored hair drinking beer by their cars, you might think: “I might be in the wrong neighborhood!” Or, if you’re like me, you think: “This is going to be one hell of a party!”
Anyone’s Guess CD Release Show Photos from Venue 578
Anyone’s Guess held a festive CD release show in Orlando over the weekend and invited a few of Orlando’s best Alternative rock bands to join them on stage for the big event. We were able to catch a handful of cool photos from each band, as well as a few crowd shots.
On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of seeing two exciting bands at Will’s Pub. Crowd pleasers to the sold out show were Teen Suicide and Elvis Depressedly. I was not overly familiar with the music of either band previously, so my ears were in for a new treat.
My first time seeing these lads from Las Vegas and they delivered a memorable set that had the crowd absolutely ecstatic. It was the most passionate I saw the crowd for any performance during the day, and these guys delivered a memorable, energy packed thirty minutes.

I’ve seen The Maine before so I knew they put on a good show, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with their Vans Warped Tour set. They took the stage dressed in matching blue dress slacks and pressed white dress shirts, and then, the sharp dressed men tore it up. Front man John O’Callaghan was dynamic and engaging throughout the set, as he interacted with the crowd constantly. He was never more in his element than when he pulled a young man up on stage who had no idea what he was listening to.

Damn – that was one hell of a way to kick off a festival. On a beautiful, warm Florida day, thousands of fans at Jacksonville’s newly arranged Metropolitan Park were treated to some killer live rock ‘n roll.
