I realize I am little late here… But the sheer awesomeness of the Melvins made me do it…
I finally got to see the Melvins live… Yup…. I did it… and it was glorious… And… it was in the intimate setting of The Orpheum in Ybor City, Tampa, which has quickly become one of my favorite venues around town.
It is almost time for one of Orlando’s most distinctive and entertaining music festivals, when Reggae On the Block 4 hits Downtown O-Town on October 7th. This year’s version is brought to us by our friends at 101.1 WJRR, Real Radio 104.1, Foundation Presents, Elixir, Bud Light and by Hard Rock Cafe Orlando, and takes place at Social Pavilion & Washington Street in the heart of the City Beautiful.

Astari Night Features New Music on Upcoming Florida Dates
In order for me to describe the song, “The Girl Who Tried,” I would have to take you back to a track called “The Boy Who Tried.” Released in 2014 by a band called Astari Nite, off of their EP Anonymous, this song starts with a low frequency gritty rumble and makes it’s way into synth sounding electronica with a nice heavy bass and drums.
Metallica today announced that they will reissue their legendary third album, Master of Puppets on November 10th on their own Blackened Recordings. The album has been remastered for the most advanced sound quality and will be available in various digital and physical configurations.
