Wow!

Metallica has just announced plans for their 2017 WorldWired North American tour in support of their new album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, and the lineup is fantastic. They will be joined by hard rock heavyweights Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat throughout the tour. As you might have guessed, it’s a stadium tour and contains welcome news for Florida rock fans. They will be invading Orlando’s Camping World Stadium on July 5th and Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium two days later.

Blondie and Garbage Announce Tour

Blondie and Garbage to Co-Headline North American Tour

Earlier today we received word of an intriguing summer tour headed our way.  The Rage and Rapture Tour features two of rock music’s most accomplished female fronted bands, Blondie and Garbage. Although we are excited to see both artists, the return of Blondie truly has us abuzz.

The two bands embark on their Rage and Rapture Tour in early July with a few dates on the West Coast.

Kolars is the newish lovechild of two former members of modern folk band He’s My Brother She’s My Sister. Rob and Lauren Kolar have crafted a distinctively creative sound that I’d categorize as Danceabilly.  Imagine what would happen when Bleachers collide with Social Distortion – that’s the best way I can describe their sound.

The Yugos – Ingenue

Ingenue assaults your headphones as a long rush of fuzz and distortion but gradually transforms into a slick indie rock offering. The song is a meandering track that demands attention and delivers a creative vibe much different than anything else on the markets these days.  At times, I felt like I had my ass parked on a huge bass speaker in the corner of the dance floor at The Revival in Philadelphia listening to a killer new wave dance party.
