New BJ Wilbanks “Don’t Fight the Feelin'” is Thick, Southern Soul

BJ Wilbanks is the kind of smoky soulful voice that has been lost in the realm of rock ‘n roll. His new song “Don’t Fight the Feelin’” demands that soulful voice to be heard.

His self-titled debut was released earlier this year and contains some more of that demanding soul. The new song finds him not veering to far from the retro feel of the record and is prime for rolling down the street or sitting by the fire with your loved one. Check out the new single below.

A native of Georgia, Wilbanks has been touring the South both as a solo act as well as a member of his band Gibson Wilbanks. His music is thick, and charismatic often in the same breath as  Otis Redding, and Sturgill Simpson.
