Charlie Daniels Band Bring Legendary Show through Florida This Week
Charlie Daniels and his lineup of talented musicians and special guests will be hitting Florida for multiple tour dates this March 2017. Now eighty years old with an over fifty-year long career of steady touring, recording, and recognition (including awards at the Grammys and CMAs), Daniels is hitting the road for a tour including multiple Florida cities that often miss out on big name acts. (Dates included below.)
Recognizable hits from this group with a sound that blends rock and roll, country, and bluegrass include classic hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” “In America,” ”Long Haired Country Boy,” “The Legend of Wooley Swamp,” and “The South’s Gonna Do It Again.” I expect we will hear some of these hits as well as tracks from their new 2016 album Nighthawk and their 2014 collection of unique Bob Dylan tributes.
This is a band with a profound pride for themselves, their country, and their musicianship. I do not expect a flashy show but I do anticipate that they will bring a high quality and truly live performance to these Florida venues on a tour that certainly cannot be missed.
