Lacey Sturm is a dynamic rock vocalist with an impressive track record, both as lead singer for Flyleaf, and as a solo performer. She brings her solo show to Winter Park, headlining an impressive show produced by local promoter Maniacal Mojo this Friday, July 22nd in Winter Park.

And as a nice treat for local rock fans, the lineup features a slew of diverse and talented local and regional rock bands, as well.

The lineup features RARAs Farm favorites A Brilliant Lie, Blaine The Mono and Sunshine and Bullets, along with Bridge To Grace, Auditory Armory and A Bridge of Thorns.  The common thread for those bands? All six are fronted by female vocalists. It should be a memorable night.

Tickets for the event are selling well according to Maniacal Mojo and can be snagged HERE for the bargain price of $15, through this Wednesday.  After then, and at the door (if available) tickets will be $20. The Haven is a small club, so ticket sales are limited to the first 350 folks – don’t delay…

We reached out to a few of our local friends for their thoughts:

  • Randi Stickles of Blaine The Mono: If you told 18 year old me that I would have the opportunity to share a stage with Lacey Sturm later in life, one of two things would have happened; I would have either passed out or tried to invent some kind of time machine to fast forward a bit to say the least. Love her! I’m gonna have a minor freak out moment at the show, but I’ll push through it. LOL. Gonna be a night for the books!
  • Tara Lightfoot of A Brilliant Lie: I think it is fantastic of Lacey and her team to execute these tour stops that enable local and regional acts to share the stage with her. It really is a wonderful opportunity, and we are lucky to have the Haven, Clint from Maniacal Mojo, and tour packages like Lacey’s that allow our local scene to get involved.

Grab your tickets here, and we’ll see you Friday!
