It’s been one hell of a start to 2016 for our favorite quintet of Nashville rockers. The Dead Deads have just disembarked from a raucous week rocking the high seas and then quickly released the video for their new single “Super Tiny” which you can sample below.
The five young ladies who together comprise the quirkiest fivesome of dead chicks you’ll find anywhere, were one of the feature bands for this year’s Shiprocked, along with some rock ‘n roll heavyweights: Five Finger Death Punch, Seether and Halestorm. Now their many new fans are treated to some fresh new music. “Super Tiny” is a drum driven rocker that serves as a nice follow-up to 2015’s “Lemonade” which was one of RARA’s Farm’s Top 25 Songs of the Year.
The new release gives The Dead Deads a chance to show a bit of their diversity. It boasts more of a slick pop rock feel than the punk-infused “Lemonade,” but the new offering is definitely an invigorating rocker worth your attention.
“Super Tiny” spotlights more melodic and gentle vocals, but make no mistake, this one is a with plenty of hearty rock. It’s an energetic, frenetic rocker with catchy riffs and visceral drums, that’s a blast to listen to.
The video in typical Dead Deads style is an interesting journey; this time the ladies are on a trip through the desert, including an ill-timed stop at a strange biker bar. Wrap your ears around some tasty new music as you enjoy the video:
