Ace Covers All Bases

Legendary KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has just released the first tasty sample from his soon to be released covers collection, Origins, Vol, 1. The first offering from the album is a powerful tribute to Cream’s “White Room” featuring Ace on vocals.

The new album is packed with intriguing guest performances, none more so than Frehley pairing with his KISS bandmate Paul Stanley on a cover of Free’s early hit “Fire and Water.” Other collaborations include Slash playing lead on Thin Lizzy’s “Emerald,” Lita Ford on The Troggs “Wild Thing” and Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 playing guitar alongside Ace as he sings his classic KISS composition “Parasite” for the first time.

You can check out a little teaser for the album on Rolling Stone, where they’ve got the full version of the Cream classic here: White Room debut

Ace Frehley tour dates are provided below, but you’ll also have a chance to see him with his KISS bandmates at the inaugural Moonstone Festival in Orlando on April 30th.
